Winston and Leo have lived a guinea pig nightmare. They were housed in a small cage that was never cleaned with no idea when and what their next meal would be. They were almost released outside but the boys were grateful when a kind neighbor took them in.
At the neighbor’s home they had a brand new clean cage, good food and someone that taught them humans were good. Unfortunately the family dog did not want to share his home. The neighbor reached out to KGPR and the boys were quickly moved to a foster home.
As a result of their first home, both boys have foot issues which will require careful management by their new family. They are looking for an adult home or possibly one with older children as they are still learning to trust people. These boys are about 2 years old.
