Meet WILMA! At 7 years old, Wilma is THE super senior piggy of the rescue. We originally met Wilma in 2021, she was part of the Alva case that made the news. Wilma didn't make her way officially into Penny and Wild's care until 2023 when the rescue that initially took her in closed. Wilma is currently in our sanctuary program because of her age and medical status. However, we very much want to find Wilma a Forever Family to pamper her for the last years of her life. ESPECIALLY since we're celebrating Wilma being declared cancer free! That's right... this lady battled a cancerous tumor and WON. Wilma had a cancerous mass removed a year ago. Her subsequent check ups indicated clean margins and she has not developed another mass since her surgery a year ago. That being said, it doesn't mean that cancer won't rear it's ugly head once again in the future. Therefore, a potential adopter does need to be comfortable with the possibility. Wilma is spayed but does best with other females. She's an absolute doll baby who really and truly deserves a Happy Tails story of her own!
