My Story

My foster writes: Wallace is a survivor! In early June, she found herself un-housed and fighting for survival in Seward Park on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Wallace, as a quick-witted New Yorker, was fast on her feet and made her way to a native pollinator meadow in the park. There, she hunkered down, munching on the native plants and grasses with her buddy, Shawn, while they waited for rescue. A member of the Seward Park Conservancy rescued Wallace and Shawn and they are being fostered in her apartment. Wallace and Shawn are big fans of a variety of veggies, with leafy green kale being the favorite. They love to take food from a human's hand and make happy little squeaky noises as a "thank you." Wallace is a brave, sweet soul looking for a kind human to offer a loving, forever home. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 1.54lbs Age: 1yrs 1mths 1wks
