Meet Tom and Jerry. Two bonded Chinchillas who lost their home. These guys are wonderfully curious, mischievous balls of floof. They love running on their wheel and nibbling on apple sticks. They are friendly but like most Chinchillas, they prefer not to be handled much. They prefer for you to sit down and let them come to you.
Chinchillas can live 25+ years. They are a large commitment and require lifetime care. You also need an exotic vet for yearly checkups. Chins are dusty (they need to take dust baths) and therefore, you need to prepare on having a dusty home - They are nocturnal and are most active at night- Also, they need unlimited access to hay. So make sure that you are not allergic to grass or hay.
