Teddy is neighbors with his friend Chip! We hope they can be adopted together.
Teddy is a very gentle guinea pig who has been through a lot in life. We were alerted about him back in January when it was only 19 degrees outside. He was found under a shed, and it took us two days to rescue him, he was found with two females, and he is the unknowing father to 6 children. He has an earring that makes us believe he was kept for breeding. Because of his possible prior stressful life, he spends his days with us lounging around. He has a couch he loves and spends almost every minute he can there being a couch potato. He loves to take naps after a meal and will enjoy laying on your lap while you watch TV.
He is very food-motivated and will take treats from your hand. He gets so excited when you refill his hay that he has to popcorn as big as he can!
We hope Teddy can find a forever family in a home with older children or an adult-only household.
