Sweet Pea

For more information about Sweet Pea, please reach out to [email protected] Sweet Pea will be 13 this August and has been a healthy, adorable and loving chinchilla. She has been with our family for 7 years of her 13 years. She is good around people and is not frightened of little dogs barking at her. She grew accustomed to our late maltese, and our late silky terrier. She puts up with our louder schnauzer. Sweet Pea will get them stirred up by running around the cage and then stopping short to smell them up close, she likes to smell their paws, it's very cute. She absolutely loves old fashioned dry oats which is her favorite treat, just a teaspoon a day. She also enjoys rose hips and timothy hay sticks, fresh timothy hay and oxbow chinchilla food. Her cage and any accessories can go with her, if wanted, and will accept a small fee in exchange and to ensure she is going to the right home. All the ramps have fitted covers and matching fitted tray covers on the 4 levels. The cage is by Critter Nation, and was purchased when she was rescued 7 years ago. I will ask anyone who wishes to rehome Sweet Pea to fill out a form to ensure they have the proper chinchilla care knowledge. Best home will be someone who is familiar with chinchillas, understands what they need, what makes them happy and someone who wants to and has time to spend with her. Sweet Pea is an adorable young lady.
