Sushi came to us because their family had a new baby. We noticed that he seemed smaller than expected, even though his family said he was 3 years old.
Turns out, the family was feeding them in a way that was not good for their health, making the Chinchillas both a bit undernourished. This also caused fights over food. Now Sushi must live alone as he's been attacked by other chinchillas over food and is afraid of others. He now has scars on his back where he was ripped open, and hair hasn't grown back.
Even so, he's a very sweet and clingy chin. He comes to you for attention and his foster said he's a silly little guy.
He's since healed from his injuries and is ready to find a furever home that will keep him safe and healthy.
