My days are pretty mellow; I love munching on Cheerios, taking long naps, and just being my goofy self. My friends Knocking on Heaven’s Door and Devil Went Down to Georgia, are the best. We have the most fun together, just hanging out and being rats. I'm a gentle soul, always ready to make a new friend or share a snack. My sweet nature makes me a great companion. I may be a little older, but I've got a lot of love to give. If you're looking for a friendly, mellow, and slightly goofy friend, then I'm your guy. Doesn’t really like to be touched although slowly introducing light strokes on his side. Explores area when out for playtime, and plays with the others. Estimated birth date: 1/16/23 Personality: Curious, Funny, Hesitant, Quiet, Sweet Favorite treats: Cheerios and Seed Mix Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food Favorite toys and activities: Stairway to Heaven likes climbing around his enclosure, playing with his brothers, and getting pet by his fosters. Potty trained: We're working on it! This animal’s daily routine: In the morning, his fosters fill up his water bottle and food bowl. They pet and play with him a while. In the afternoon, he and his friends get some play time, and food gets topped off if needed. BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Knocking on Heaven's Door, Stairway to Heaven, & Devil Went Down to Georgia are a bonded trio and must be adopted together. None Health concerns: Stairway to Heaven has recently recovered from a URI. We continue to monitor for any recurrence. Behavioral concerns: Stairway to Heaven is more outgoing than his brothers, but he is still unsure of people since he has little experience with them. His fosters are working on getting him more comfortable with humans They are giving him treats and petting him. He is getting more outgoing. Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the PetSmart - 18050 Zane St NW, Elk River, MN 55330 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
