Spike and Caramel

These two older fellows were surrendered to the rescue and they looked really old, and they were skin and bones (for guinea pigs). Really thought they wouldn't last the month, but they proved me wrong! Yeah! Started by offering larger portions of pellets and veggies with lots and lots of hay, and in about 3 weeks they completely changed. Spike and Caramel are more active, have some good weight to them and do not look as aged. Good nutrition and maybe a little more love helped transform these 4 years olds around. Adoptions are made at our adoption events OR at shelter by appt only.... We are located in Dearborn MO. Please check out FB page for adoption event dates and additional information.
