My Story

** I am currently being housed at our Oglethorpe St location. Come meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW, every day between 12pm-7pm. Or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more. ***Guinea pigs are very social, and they benefit and thrive from the companionship of each other! ***Adopt one and HRA will waive the adoption fee when adopting another one! Poor SheShe. Someone dumped her near a trash can, and she was pregnant! Who does this to these innocent animals. She is a lovely adult female guinea pig with an adorable tri-colored furry jacket. She is so sweet and soft. She is social, curious, and she likes to play as well as cuddle in laps. SheShe might enjoy the company of another female piggie as they are super social and like to live in groups. Guinea pigs can be very active and playful, they always have fresh veggies and fruits, and they love toys. They like veggies, fruits, pellets and hay. Bananas, broccoli, celery, and carrots are yummies many piggies like too. Guinea pigs love large spaces to hang out, play and get some good naps. They also need proper chew toys as their teeth keep growing! They also must get their nails trimmed periodically too. These neat pets do have unique housing, nutritional and set-up needs so be sure to ask our adoptions counselors how to get ready to bring SheShe home!
