My Story

Roberta is a sweet little female guinea pig. She is friendly and would be a good candidate for bonding with another female pig. PLEASE READ: Our guinea pigs come from unknown situations. They are often the result of improper sexing of juvenile pigs. Sows can get pregnant as early as 3 weeks and boars can start breeding at 2 weeks. Sows are pregnant for 2 1/2 months. There is absolutely no way for us to know if a female pig is pregnant. While we do the very best we can to ensure that this doesn't happen, sadly it does and it happens frequently. When you adopt a female guinea pig, you must sign a contract stating that if the guinea pig has babies, you will contact us for proper sex identification and separation prior to maturity. We will take the offspring if requested. Breeding guinea pigs is incredibly dangerous. Complications are common. You agree never to breed our animals. When adopting a female. You must do so knowing that if she is pregnant, she will need proper care for the best chance of survival. Your sow may not survive the pregnancy and you assume all risks.
