Robby and Tanner are two male guinea pigs who came to us from a local case where 49 guinea pigs were surrendered to a local impound. They love treat sticks, carrots, and their daily Timothy hay.
They are a little shy about being picked up but generally do well once people are holding them. They will do best in a home with older kids who are willing to give them the time to build trust and figure out that humans are okay.
Guinea pigs are social animals and are not recommended to be in homes alone. They do best in pairs.
Both have been vet checked, given supplemental vitamin C (great for guinea pigs) and given selemectin.
