Ricky and Gary

Ricky, the golden agouti and Gary, the tri color, came into the rescue as single, very young boys with horrible back grounds. Ricky was saved from being thrown out from a kind woman, and Gary lost his cagemate and the human didn't want him anymore. These two boys became instant friends and are completely bonded. Because of their rough start in life, the boys are still learning to trust humans, but with a little love and a quiet home, they will quickly flourish. Boys or girls?? Males are usually much more cuddly at an earlier age than females. Males get along just as well as females. Like all bonded pairs, they have to be adopted together. Guinea pigs are social animals and should always have at least one other friend of their own kind. These wonderful little creatures live an average of 6 to 8 years. We’ve even seen them live until they were 9-10 years old! Children under the age of 12 should always be supervised by an adult when holding guinea pigs.
