My Story

Quincy came into the rescue with many other piggies. His living conditions weren't the best and he. Never had a cagemate that was nice to him. Bodies came into the rescue as a single boy that was treated horribly. He had no clue what love or kindness was. He was TERRIFIED of everything and everyone. These two boys needed each other. When they were introduced to each other, they're was no aggression. They sniffed each other and then went into the igloo to get to know each other. From that moment on, they are best friends. These boys are ready for their forever home, where they (especially Brodie) can continue to learn what human love is. These sweet boys would do best in a home with teenage kids or adults. They are still shy with loud commotion. Boys or girls?? Males are usually much more cuddly at an earlier age than females. Males get along just as well as females. Like all bonded pairs, they have to be adopted together. If you would like to meet these boys, any of the other adoptable piggies at the rescue, or would like more information please email [email protected]. Guinea pigs are social animals and should always have at least one other friend of their own kind. These wonderful little creatures live an average of 6 to 8 years. We’ve even seen them live until they were 9-10 years old! Children under the age of 12 should always be supervised by an adult when holding guinea pigs. Also, a responsible adult should supervise their care and well-being. Email us at [email protected] for more information including our adoption form and our Guinea Pig Care Packet with the essential information all guinea pig owners should have.
