My Story

Meet Priscilla! She was born in a TCHS foster home! She has two siblings Pheobe and Patricia. She qualifies for BOGO for besties with her sibling Phoebe! Guinea pigs are social creatures and must be housed in pairs or more. In the foster home they were used to getting handled. They are very sweet Guinea Pigs!! Pigs are very vocal creatures and love to squeal, chirp, squeak, and whistle! A properly sized cage for two guinea pigs is a minimum 8 sq ft of floor space. A small hidey house inside the cage is required so the guinea pig has a private place to snooze. Guinea pigs require unlimited amounts of fresh Timothy Hay every day. Guinea pigs are unable to produce their own Vitamin C and therefore require supplements or Vitamin C fortified pellets on a daily basis. Some guinea pig-safe foods are: parsley, bell peppers, romaine lettuce, carrots, spinach, green alfalfa , grapes, apples, and cranberry. Pigs also need daily exercise outside of their cage to stretch their legs- this is also a great time to bond with your piggies! Snicker and Doodle cannot wait to meet their family. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.
