Pheobe was a shelter transfer to our rescue group. We do not know her age, but shes an adult. Safe to assume between 2-5.
She arrived severely fur chewed AS SHOWN. While she has improved with proper care and love, we're choosing to show her at her " worst ". Why? Fur-chewing chinchillas are never truly cured. They can relapse and change their hairstyle whenever they feel like it, it's purely cosmetic.
You can avoid the sudden hair change, by lovingly spoiling your pet with ample chew toys, a good diet, and a safe environment. Just because Pheobe prefers a short bob hairstyle does NOT mean that she's any less deserving of getting a quality home. Consider her, for her sweet personality!
