She arrived to DPR with several other piggy friends when their owner was no longer able to care for them. She is about 6 months old and is a sweet girl. She'd probably love having a guinea pig companion! She's an awesome little gal and is excited to find a home of her very own! All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets! If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care. *Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up 'curb side'. Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. * DPR guinea pigs receive a vet check up prior to adoption! We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
