-Marvin was originally brought to a kill shelter in VA after he was found running loose as a stray at a Hardees, more than likely dumped. A rescue we work with down south pulled him and transported him up to us so he could be safe and find a real forever home! Marvin is a super sweet, outgoing little guy who loves attention and doesn’t mind being picked up. He LOVES treats, maybe a little too much, as he’s a little chonky and definitely needs to be on limited pellets and snacks. Chinchillas can live 20 years with proper care! We do not recommend chinchillas for children as they do not make good pets for children under 12. They require a specialized habitat with multiple levels, specific food, and regular grooming care.
