Maggie & Mullins

Say hello to Maggie & Mullins, your new BFFs! Maggie and Mullins are a bonded pair odd couple of skinny pig and satin abyssinian. It was love at first sight. The two of them were both on the shy side and pairing with each other brought out lots of zoomies, popcorning, and cuddle time. Mullins loves to groom Maggie's satin fur (fur envy!) and they are both on the shy side. Mullins is a 1.5 year old Skinny pig and must be adopted and cared for uniquely (which thankfully mimics Satin Aby care and why we paired them together. She is a shy soul and loves to be cuddled in your softest and fuzziest towel on your lap. She loves her nose stroked. She is still nervous about her bare skin being touched except through a soft fuzzy towel. She is gentle and will do best in a home with soft, kind love and affection. She also must be kept above 72 degrees or a heat lamp/heating element must be provided. To keep her skin beautiful she needs a diet high in green veggies, regular alfalfa pellets and hay along with her regular timothy. If not, they will get flaky skin and scurvy. Skinny pigs are also subject to lipomas which are harmless fatty tumors. She has a very small one and no surgery is required on it. Maggie is a bundle of energy and still young, born around Sept 2023, and very active. She is very affectionate and a bit squirmy to pick up and fine once she feels comfortable in your arms or lap. She is your typical friendly Aby and will let you know not to forget to feed her at meal times! She adores Mullins and enjoys her groomings and running around the cage with her. These girls are currently fostered in Houston, TX.
