My Story

Lucie and Sylvie are two female Guinea Pigs who are about 3 & 1/2 years old. These two cute girls are quiet but friendly and playful. They live together and must be adopted together. Lucie has a tricolor coat of tan, black and white with a punk tuft of white hair on her head. We think she is part Abyssinian. Sylvie has a smooth coat of tan and white with a little smudge of black near one eye. We think she is part American. They enjoy their exercise and being outdoors and/or in a larger enclosure where they can move around and play. Sylvie is the leader, and Lucie the shyer one. Both really like lettuce and kale and strawberries. They both are huge fans of romaine lettuce. They devour all their vegetables and don't leave any leftovers! Sylvie’s favorite thing is head scratches, so she'll surely love cuddling up with you for some. Lucie is still a bit timid, but her curiosity takes over sometimes, especially when she feels safe in her cage. Then she will approach for some scratches or looking for food. Both girls not only liking hanging out together, they get along well with other female guinea pigs, too. Note: gender and age are our best guess. Lucie & Sylvie are currently living in foster care but would like a family of their very own. The adoption fee of $70 ($35 EACH) will benefit other CPR rescue animals.
