My Story

Goober is an adorable young man. He previously lived with a few other guinea pigs and did very well! He's a more dominant male so would do best with a submissive pig or would do well as a solo pig with a lot of human attention. He absolutely loves his daily veggies and chirps with excitement when he hears the bags crinkle. Guinea pigs are active, gentle, relatively low-maintenance pets that love companionship and make great pets for gentle children six years old and up. Guinea pigs are happiest when they have a clean cage and lots of socialization time with their person. They require fresh hay and greens (lettuce, parsley, basil, etc.) daily, and adopters should consider this expense when adding a guinea pig to their family. If you would like to adopt a guinea pig, rabbit, or another small critter, please fill out our adoption application: medfieldshelter.com/adopt Our guinea pig adoption fee is $25 for one or $35 for a same-sex pair.
