How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by a community member. At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Why this pet is the one for you: Several guinea pigs recently came into our care and we need to find homes for all of them. Frisee is a young guy with a fancy name and beautiful orange and white colors. His white is whiter than white. As with most guinea pigs, he should be relatively easy to care for. He will need a large enclosure - not a small cage. He will need room for hiding, eating, going to the bathroom, sleeping and eating. He will prefer that his enclosure be around his human family because he is a social one who wants to be part of the family and needs human interaction. While it may not like to held, it will tolerate it but will prefer sitting quietly next to you and maybe crawling onto your lap. It will like a buddy so if you will consider adopting a second one, that would be great. We can show you how to fix a good living space for guinea pigs.
