My Story

Flora, Danielle and Fauna are the true definition of friendship. These girls were part of a large group of guinea pigs that came to the shelter after being abandoned. Some had sustained injuries and were held back from adoption while they healed. Danielle was one of the piggies that had a pretty bad injury, requiring stitches. While her body healed from the wound, her spirit longed for the companionship of her friends. Danielle was sad and was not thriving or eating well. We reunited her with Flora and Fauna and immediately she perked up, started eating better and was so much happier! Understandably, the piggies from this group all need some time and patience to learn to trust. We know that there is someone out there who will love and care for these girls, and offer them a life of safety. Might that be you?
