Eggy was transferred to us from another organization due to not doing well in a shelter setting. He bit a member of their staff and they felt he would do better in a foster environment with a more small animal oriented rescue. While with us, Eggy has been friendly and non aggressive. His previous owner surrendered due to housing issues, and reported that he was friendly and handleable.
He was approximately 1 year and 4 months upon intake in July 2024.
Eggy has been a curious, laidback, and friendly boy while in foster care with us. He loves his wheel, digging around, and sniffing out snacks. While we have had no issues with handling him, we still would not recommend letting children handle him. Teens and older who are respectful are okay.
