Edwin love to lay down on the couch or in your lap and kick his back feet out and just relax with you. He will let you know when it is dinner time just in case you forgot or are busy doing something else. Favorite treats: Oxbow Vitamin C tablets and Nature Salad Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food, Fruit, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Western Timothy Hay Favorite toys and activities: Loves free roam time Potty trained: No This animal’s daily routine: Breakfast, fresh hay at 7:30am, dinner at 7:30pm and fresh hay, pellets and supplements at 10pm. BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): No, but needs a friend in adoptive home. Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Cat, Dog - Did not seem to care. Bonding was previously attempted with another guinea pig but the other guinea pig was overly dominant. Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Yes - he was great with school-age children Health concerns: Edwin has had an eye surgically removed before entering our care for an unknown reason. Behavioral concerns: None Edwin came to MNPPR as a transfer from another rescue. Other Notes: He only has 1 eye but does everything a 2 eyed piggie does. Just need to make sure he hears you coming or he gets frightened. We always call out his name as we approach him so he can turn around to see us. Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 299 12th St SW, Forest Lake, MN 55025 for meet & greets, & adoptions. Fee: Edwin has an adoption fee of $35 We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask. Edwin's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored.
