Meet little Dusty, a charming Standard Grey male Chinchilla who's around 3 years old. Dusty found his way to our rescue when his original owner had to surrender him due to an out-of-state move. It was a heart-wrenching decision, but the owner prioritized Dusty's well-being, giving him a second chance at a good life. He was adopted!!!! but... Just three weeks ago, Dusty's original family, currently in the process of building their dream home, realized they couldn't accommodate him during this transition. We assured them that Dusty could return to us. However, the situation escalated, and they contacted us, stressing that Dusty needed to find a new home by the end of the week. To avoid any desperate situations, we urged them to surrender Dusty the following day. It's worth noting that Dusty joined his adoptive family less than a year ago on March 13th, 2023, after being surrendered initially on January 30th, 2023. Currently, Dusty is on a mandatory 15-day quarantine but will be ready to embark on a new journey on February 2nd alongside his new friend, Danny. Danny was transferred from a local shelter the same day, so we decided to make lemonade out of life's lemons and give them a chance at having companions! Can you be their FINAL fur-ever home?
