My Story

Crackers is a single male guinea pig born on 8/10/2022. Even though he is a single guinea pig, he needs to either be bonded with another guinea pig friend or housed next to one (since he can be very picky about his cage mates). Crackers is quite a busy body. He is very active, loves climbing on top of his hides, and doing zoomies in his enclosure. Crackers was previously bonded with his father Cheese, but sadly they had a fight and they no longer wanted to share space. He does love to interact with buddies through the bars, but can be a handful when trying to bond. He may eventually be able to bond with a very docile male, but it would require lots of time and patience to make it work. Crackers is not really one to sit on your lap and chill, as his schedule is too busy for that! His ideal home would be able to provide an enriching home with a neighbor friend to interact with. Although Cheese and Crackers are no longer bonded, an ideal home would be one that could take them both. They enjoy living next to each other with either two cages pushed next to each other, or a large C&C cage that's split in half. If you're able to adopt them both and provide this set up, we are waiving their adoption fee! By himself, Cracker's adoption fee is $25. If you're interested in learning more about him, please email us at [email protected]. We're a foster-based rescue located in the Olympia area. At this time we are unable to accommodate adoptions outside of Washington. We do not ship animals.
