Chungus, despite his name, is a little guy who loves to explore his enclosure. He loves to play, burrow and snack in between naps. He is a little shy when it comes to handling, but he is only 10 weeks old and should take to socialization great given time, patience and positive rewards. He is already so curious about his human caregivers!
Full grown mice, while still very small, do require a 20 gallon enclosure with lots of substrate to burrow in, toys to chew and places to hide. A wheel is recommended, and food and water should be available at all times. Fruits and veggies in moderation make great treats and help provide a healthy, varied diet for your rodent friend.
