Chandler & Joey

We would like to introduce Chandler & Joey, a couple of piggy FRIENDS who would like nothing better than to be roommates in a forever home! Chandler & Joey are on the shy side—they were “purchased” as “starter pets” for children and were not given adequate socialization. When the novelty of caring for the guineas wore off for said children (as it always does), Chandler & Joey found themselves at a local open admission shelter…we took them in and our volunteers are working with them to gain confidence & trust in humans. Chandler is the mostly black pig with little splashes of white throughout his coat, while Joey is a grey agouti & white fellow. We estimate that the boys are approximately 10-12 months of age as of February 2024. You will be coming to our Animal Care and Education Center, located at 2801 Pulaski Highway in Edgewood, MD. The adoption fee for a pair of neutered male guinea pigs is $85. The adoption fee is a donation meant to help us offset part of the cost of caring for the animals you are adopting while they are with us, including veterinary exam, spay or neuter surgery, fecal check, food, bedding, etc. Collection of adoption fees helps us to continue to help animals in need.
