Carole King is a white and tan Syrian hamster girl born on 06/01/2024. She came to us with her momma, and three sisters. We weren't sure she would even make it - you can see she was much smaller than her already underweight/malnourished sisters But she is a little warrior. With lots of TLC and nutritious food, she slowly gained weight. She is now ready for adoption, but is unfortunately rather traumatized still. She is very shy and fearful of people, especially when handling is attempted. We do not know if she will ever be tolerant of handling. She would benefit greatly from a home where there is no expectation of her, and where she can enjoy life and feel safe.
