My Story

How this pet arrived: Carmel was brought in by his previous owner on June 2, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Carmel, who can be timid at first and is still getting used to human companionship. We know that once he adjusts, he'll blossom into a wonderful guinea pig! Carmel came in with Armadillo #908169 and Anteater #908170 and they will need to be adopted as a group or go to a home with another male guinea pig to befriend! Male guinea pigs need large enclosures with a lot of ground space (10+ square feet) to run around and stay healthy. An easy and inexpensive way to give your guinea pig a DIY palace is called a C&C fleece lined cage (Google it!). Carmel will need unlimited timothy hay to munch on, extra space to run around in, and toys to keep him active and enriched! Healthy greens, veggies, and pellets are also an essential part of his diet, as well as a daily dose of vitamin C! If you'd like to learn more about adding Carmel to your family, come in and ask about him today! Don't forget to bring a secure carrier for safe transport home!Click here to learn more about basic guinea pig care! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 0.722kg Age: 0yrs 6mths 0wks
