Guinea pigs, like Buttercup need an extra large enclosure with a lot of ground space (8+ square feet) to run around and stay healthy. An easy and inexpensive way to give your guinea pig a DIY palace is called a C&C fleece lined cage (google it!). Buttercup will need unlimited timothy hay to munch on, extra space to run around in, and toys to keep her active and enriched! Healthy greens, veggies, and pellets are also an essential part of her diet, as well as a daily dose of vitamin C!
