Archie & Winston BONDED PAIR

Meet Archie and Winston! Born Fall 2020 Archie (cream and white American) and Winston (Cream Tri Abyssinian) are two curious boys who are about 2-3 years old. These boys get along with each other very well, and coexist peacefully. Archie came to his original owner from a friend, and Winston was purchased from Woodbury Petsmart. They were surrendered because their owner did not have enough time for them. Archie is what we call the “cranky old man” of the pair. He wants what he wants, and tends to be a little stinker if he doesn’t get it. Because of his very determined personality, Archie is a bit of a biter. He tends to bite when he doesn’t want to be held. So, after courses of socialization taming and handling, we have decided Archie does best when he is interacted with on all fours. Opposite to Archie is our sweetheart, Winston. He loves being held and carted around right in his human’s arms. He does great with kids, and is happy with anything. Since he is more submissive, he tends to let Archie take his food- and is too nice to say no! So, these two like to eat their veggie dinners separately. Overall, these two boys are a hilarious pair that are not afraid of an active household! They are used to kids, dogs, and loud noises. These two will be a great addition to anyone’s family Archie loves to do the “T-rex/prairie dog stand” when he is curious of what you’re doing. It’s SO cute. Winston is also very curious and loves to greet you at the edge of the enclosure by standing on the bars. They’re working on trusting more while being touched and held- and they’re doing great! Archie and Winston came to us together in August 2022 after their owner stated they didn’t have enough time for them anymore. They were adopted about a month after surrender, but then returned to us about a year later after the owner’s job changed. These boys were then adopted out a SECOND time summer 2023, but returned AGAIN due to an unexpected allergy! These boys have been through a lot, but it hasn’t dulled their sparkle!
