Keep an eye out for them lounging on logs or soaking up rays on riverbanks and pond shores. ? Reproduction: Females take the lead here, often laying multiple clutches per year with each containing up to 2.5 eggs. ?? Hibernation: When winter rolls around, these sliders enter a brumation-like state, ensuring their survival during colder months. ?
