Rango is a 1-year-old male veiled chameleon. He is getting more used to being handled, but most chameleons do not enjoy handling. A chameleon shouldn't be adopted with the expectation of handling often. He eats great, is very healthy, and is on the small side for a male veiled.
In order to adopt chameleons from NCHS, you must provide the following enclosure requirements:
48"x24"x24" minimum size, screen or hybrid.
