Petrie is a juvenile leopard gecko and quite the handsome fella!
He suffers from MBD- metabolic bone disease, due to a calcium deficiency. Due to this his front legs are unnaturally curved, making him walk in an unusual manner.
MBD will never go away but with proper care it can be prevented from getting worse. With the progress Petrie has made since coming in, we feel like he can live a pretty natural life :). He may just need a few enclosure adjustments to make sure he is safe and for his meals to be monitored to make sure he is eating well enough. (We will walk you through everything).
He tolerates being held and has quite the big personality. He is active and doesn’t let his disability slow him down!
