IN FOSTER- Oscar is not currently in the building and is residing in a foster home, if interested please email [email protected]. Oscar is a curious and energetic guy who is looking for a his new forever home! Oscar has many favorite activities that he is hoping to continue when he moves into his new digs. He loves to watch what is going on around him, and can be found observing staff and volunteers when they are in the room visiting or cleaning, often from his basking spot. Oscar really enjoys climbing, and being in higher spaces and can often be found perched on his favorite branch in his enclosure. Oscar loves to come out of his enclosure to stretch his legs, have some supervised run around time, and has been enjoying running around after his plastic ball filled with salad snacks! We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed. *Before coming to the adoption center, we ask that you have a housing unit ready, in case you end up finding an animal youd like to adopt. At minimum bearded dragons require a space that is 48in L x 24in W x 24in H, although more space is always better! Additionally proper lighting is essential for keeping your bearded dragon happy and healthy. Your enclosure should include, a heat lamp, UVB lighting, and a light to help keep the space bright and sunny! Bearded Dragons are omnivores, meaning they enjoy both a good salad and some yummy insects! Interested adopters should be comfortable housing live insects to ensure a proper diet for your new dragon friend!
