My Story

?? Meet Oak the Boa - Looking for a New Home! ?? Hello everyone! I’m Oak the Boa. I am about 4-5 feet long and I am 4 years old. I came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on June 19th, 2024. My previous owners, who got me from WIRE, felt I was too aggressive and expensive to care for, so they had to give me up. As I have a history of striking, I can only be adopted by those with experience handling large snakes. Adoption Details: In lieu of a set adoption fee, J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue is asking that potential adopters make a donation in my name to help keep the rescue afloat. Your support ensures that animals like me receive the care and love we need. Interested in adopting me? Please fill out an adoption application on our website and let’s find me the perfect new home! About Me: I am a Boa, a striking and beautiful snake known for my distinctive patterns and colors. I am eating pre-killed Jumbo Rats and require proper care and handling. Let’s find this magnificent Boa the experienced and understanding home they deserve! ?? #AdoptDontShop #JungleBoaLove #RescueSnake
