Myrtle The Turtle - #44233

M44233 Myrtle is a cool Red Ear Slider. She is sassy and entertaining. Myrtle needs a large water habitat where she can swim around. She needs something that gives her access out of the water so she can lay under a Full Specrum Light with UVB. They also need heating to help them maintain a good body temperature. It is fun to set up a turtle habitat with things that will entertain her and make her happy. You can use rocks piled up so she can climb or you can use a large piece of wood that floats. Myrtle likes to swim and explore the bottom of the tank to look for food. She likes to have hiding places too. You can have flat water or even make a little water fall that sounds very peaceful. Myrtle will be fun to take out of her tank for exercise and time to explore. If you are gentle with her, she will allow you to handle her, but she is quite happy being on her own. If you are looking for a fun buddy to watch and enrich, Myrtle might just be a good match for you. You can visit this pet during our Animal Viewing Hours.
