Mr. Tuttle is a Yellow Bellied Slider turtle. They can live for 25+ years and may grow up to 8 inches in shell length. If you need further info than provided, please contact Julie from Heartland Small Animal Rescue, which can be found on their webpage.
This turtle requires a part aquatic, part land habitat and a 75 gallon or larger tank. They need a heat and UVB source as well as a calcium supplement (turtle bone). Water should be warmer, around 78 degrees and heat should be 10 degrees warmer than this. Mr. Tuttle does like green or red leaf lettuces. He is a beautiful turtle and very relaxing to watch swim and bask in the light.
