Lubanzi African Mud

I'm a male African mud turtle (an aquatic turtle often called a sideneck turtle) (Pelusios castaneus) for adoption in the Baltimore area with transport available to York and Harrisburg, PA, weekly and to Reston, VA, monthly. I need at least a 55 gallon aquarium with a basking platform, a strong DIY or external canister filter, a water heater, heat light, and UVB light. A 100 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank would be a fabulous enclosure, and stock tanks are cheaper than aquariums of the same size. An underwater cave or artificial plants for hiding would be awesome, too. I eat pellets, but like a treat of an insect or earthworm or plain, cooked meet. I've been a pet for 10 years, so I'm probably about 14-17 years old, with another 10 -20 years to go. I'm for adoption because my person grew up and moved away, and the parents travel too much to care for me.
