Meet Ivy
Hi everyone my name is Ivy and I was actually accepted into the rescue several months ago. My story is that I was found as a stray and brought to the local shelter. The following day I gave birth to eight babies, This certainly took the shelter staff by surprise and they knew although they run a wonderful shelter its still not a calm place for a nursing mom. That is where we stepped in to help mom and babies.
Ivy was a wonderful mom, and her 8 babies will also be posted shortly. She is now happy and healthy and relieved to be done with being a mom. We do not know if that was her first litter, but it will definitely be her last as once she finished nursing, she was spayed as well as vaccinated against RHDV. Ivy is a very neat bun and likes to keep her home clean, she has wonderful litterbox habits. She may be a great bonding candidate for any neutered males searching for a friend, however, would be just as happy being a solo bun.
She is eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Timothy Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water plus her daily salad. We believe she is no older than 2 years of age and is full grown at about 4 lbs.
