My Story

Winnie & Kanga are estimated only 7 months old! they were rescued from a cruelty case where 26 rabbits were shoved in a small hutch without food and water for days while the owner went on vacation. 11 died including multiple babies that were born during the time due to consistent breeding. It’s an absolute miracle that they are alive and have been fully rehabbed! Their fur was so patchy due to their fur falling out. They were extremely underweight and had never had hay in their life! These two do not look alike so it’s assumed they are from different litters. Winnie is the golden lop and her name comes from Winnie the Pooh, although she is a female! Kanga is brown with white patches and loves to stand up on her back legs, which is where she got her name! Despite what they’ve been through, they are so friendly! You can pick them up and hold them and they will be your best friend if you have fresh fruit, especially bananas! Come visit the rescue to see if they are the right fit for you!
