They were beyond frightened when they were brought to Hamilton Animal Services and it took quite a while for them to learn to trust the staff there. The shelter had Thelma and Louise spayed, and after a few months, we were finally able to rescue this bunny pair and place them into a loving foster home. These two adorable girls were given a clean bill of health at their vet visit, and now they’re ready to find their forever home! We’re asking they be adopted as a pair. Thelma and Louise are a lot of fun. They come running to greet you whenever you come into the room, and they’ll nudge your legs with their noses to say hello. When they know it’s snack time, they’ll both stand up on their hind legs to get a better look at what veggies you have to offer. It’s very cute! They are currently living cage-free in a large, rabbit proofed room, and they love having all the space to run and play. We are hoping their forever home can offer them the same free-roaming life. It took a few days for them to use their litter boxes 100%, but they’re champs at it now. It may take their new home a few tries with box placement to keep them consistent, but they’ll figure it out. Thelma and Louise are not cuddly bunnies yet, but they’re getting better at accepting affection from humans every day.
