My Story

Got a mystery to solve? Then this is the crew for you - Meet Shaggy, Scrappy, Velma, and Scooby! Lovingly dubbed the “Scooby Gang,” this group of 4 siblings has been together through thick and thin. They were born outside in late June of 2023 and brought into the rescue at a mere 3-4 weeks of age after their mother went missing. Our best guess is that they are New Zealand and Californian mixes based on their color and size. These 4 siblings have stayed the best of friends as they have grown, and are looking for a home together where they can continue to be an adorable group of mischief makers. As young buns, the Scooby Gang is full of energy and ready to play! They love to run around and will play with pretty much any toy you give them. Shaggy (white bun) is the shyest of the group, but he still likes to explore and play with his siblings. He loves getting his face rubbed and finding a nice cozy place up high where he can watch over his siblings. Scrappy (smaller brown bun) is the most curious of the bunch and is a huge fan of exploring. He’s particularly fond of wooden toys he can toss around and hideys he can nap in between all the adventures. Velma (white and grey bun) is the most social of the buns and is the first one to accept snuggles. When she’s not snuggling, she loves to run and play, and has some of the most hilarious zoomies as she’s not the most coordinated bunny. Scooby (larger brown bun) is the lover of the group and is extremely tolerant of most things. You can pet him all over and he’s the easiest to handle, though he does still prefer being on the ground wherever possible. He’s a big beggar too, and has no qualms asking for attention and food. The one thing this gang loves more than playing is food. They love all treats and will swarm during meal times in the hopes of being the first one to get a cookie. They are excellent hay eaters and have enjoyed a variety of different greens with no issues, so anything is fair game for this crew! They have done well with litter training, though they may lay claim to new territories with a few poos here and there. The gang has done very well with the cat in their foster home, and would likely do well with kids and dogs, so long as they are calm and gentle. Their ideal home would be one in which they have lots of space to roam, with all sorts of toys to investigates and snacks to keep them fueled for adventure.
