My Story

Meet Tater, the resilient little bunny whose journey from a neglected barnyard to a loving foster home is nothing short of inspiring. Tater came to RARR after being found loose in a barnyard, competing with livestock for nourishment. Despite her rough start, Tater has blossomed into a beacon of love and laughter. Tater may be all white, but her personality shines brighter than her short Rex fur, captivating all who meet her with her friendly nature and affectionate demeanor. Though once fearful of people, Tater now eagerly welcomes cuddles and attention, melting hearts with her endearing antics and comical charm. Sadly, Tater's emotional recovery has outpaced her physical ailments. Due to cecal abnormalities she cannot enjoy fruit and greens like a normal bunny would without digestive ramifications. While her digestive issues limit her diet, they haven't dampened her spirit one bit. Unsupervised free roam isn't recommended due to her health needs; however, Tater thrives in an environment where she receives the care and attention she deserves. All she wants is a home with a play area and plenty of hay, water and attention that's her heaven. This perfectly imperfect bunny is more than just a pet; she's a reminder of how love and compassion can transform lives. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a special soul who will repay your kindness tenfold with unwavering love and affection, Tater is waiting to be your forever friend. ...
