My Story

Tango is a darling boy who was born in rescue after his pregnant mom was captured running around a local park. He was adopted as a youngster, and spent just over a year in a home where he was once very much loved. Sadly, as was the case with so many pets adopted during Covid lockdowns, his adopter got busy with school after lockdowns ended, and decided she no longer had time to care for him. Tango returned very sad and confused. He has been frustrated, but is very hopeful that he will find a new family who will love him, and treat him like a member of the family, rather than a temporary distraction. He does tend to get a little sassy when food is being served or his belongings are handled. He is very particular about his space! This may cause his to box or grunt, which can be a little intimidating to some younger kiddos, so we are recommending he live with older kids, adults, or those who have had experience with rabbits and understand this sort of behavior. We feel he would be much happier as a free-roaming house rabbit. All in all, he's a good boy who just wants someone to love him. He is not a fan of other animals, so will do best in a home without any other pets.
