Spencer is a calm and somewhat shy New Zealand/Hotot mixed breed rabbit who was rescued along with three rabbit friends before being sold for meat. He’s a gentle boy and his dark eye bands give him a distinctive “eyeliner” appearance.
Spencer had been housed in a cramped hutch with the three other rabbits who were going to suffer the same fate: being sold as meat. We’re glad to have him safe at the shelter but a forever home for him is at the top of his - and our - wish list!
Although he had been adopted back in in October 2021, Spencer has been returned to the shelter through no fault of his own. This doubles his need and desire for a new forever home!
