Sour Cream

Hi, my name is Sour Cream! Although my name might say otherwise, I’m the sweetest cookie. When I hear my name, I come running! I came into rescue with my parents and siblings, and I am the shyest of all of them, but I’m a very proper lady. When I first got to my foster home, I was so scared. It took me a long time to figure out that this was a safe space. My nice foster family spent time with me, helping me understand that they were there to love me. Now I wait for them to come let me out of my pen in the morning. My absolute favorite thing is zooming and binkying in the hallway. I also love playing with my foster mom there too! I run after her, and then binky away when she turns and chases after me. After playing, I flop on my special blanket so that she can pet me while I relax. It really is a hard life. When I hear the stacking cups being filled, I stand on my hind legs and lick my lips in anticipation because I love throwing them around to get the treats inside. I love to nap, and will flop next to or under your chair while you’re working or reading. I’m still shy, but the safety I feel in my home makes me less worried. As much as I enjoy where I am living, I know that I have a forever family out there who will want to love and play with me too!! Sour Cream is best suited for a home with no children under the age of 12 and who has the patience to earn her trust and understands that it will likely take 6 to 12 months before she feels comfortable in a new home. Sour Cream is currently dealing with a mild case of pododermatitis, which is an inflammation on the bottom of her back feet. She is currently wearing fleece booties that will be needed lifelong. The booties will be provided to her adopter upon adoption. Her adoption fee is $40.00.
