My Story

Pellets: Unlimited Oxbow Essentials Young Rabbit pellets until 5-6 months old (All day) Hay: Unlimited alfalfa hay AND timothy Salad: 1x a day 1/2 cup spring mix, parsley, cilantro, romaine lettuce Snoochi is a sweet baby girl adorable litter of Mulan and Poncho, born in January 2024. Snoochi can be shy at first but will eventually muster up the courage to peek her head out of her hidey home. Snoochi is curious and food-motivated, she will happily accept treats and pets once she is comfortable. She is spirited and has really fun bursts of energy! One thing to note is that Snoochi does not like being picked up, so it is imporant to approach her slowly and quietly. Snoochi would be great in a forever home that will be patient and give her places to hide and nap from time to time! Spayed 6/6/24 Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease caused by a calicivirus that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. It is not contagious to people or other animals. For the first time, the virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. UPDATE: In May 2021, California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has confirmed new cases of RHDV in rabbits in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura County. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit.
